Mission

Promote and support the dissemination of orchid species, conservation, and being a center for exchanging knowledge, meeting, and giving advice and knowledge about orchids.

สมาคมกล้วยไม้โคราช

สมาคมกล้วยไม้โคราช (ประเทศไทย) (KOS Thailand) ก่อตั้งขึ้นที่จังหวัดนครราชสีมา (โคราช) ประเทศไทย ในปี พ.ศ. 2509 และได้รับการจดทะเบียนอย่างเป็นทางการเป็นสมาคมในปี พ.ศ. 2515 โดยดำเนินงานในฐานะองค์กรที่ไม่แสวงหาผลกำไร

Korat Orchid Society

The Korat Orchid Society (Thailand) (KOS Thailand) was founded in Nakhon Ratchasima Province (Korat), Thailand in 1966 and was officially registered as a society in 1972. It operates as a non-profit organization.

สมาคมกล้วยไม้โคราช (ประเทศไทย) มีกิจกรรมอนุรักษ์กล้วยไม้พันธุ์แท้ เช่น เอื้องกุหลาบเหลืองโคราช (Aerides houlletiana) และการปรับปรุงพันธุ์ลูกผสม เช่น แวนด้าไลท์แอมเบอร์ แวนด้าโคราชโกลด์ แวนด้าทับทิมโคราช แคทลียาโคราชบิวตี้ แคทลียาโคราชไวท์ แคทลียาเพชรโคราช แคทลียาโคราชพิ้งค์ แคทลียาเพชรราชสีมา แคทลียาโคราชเรด แคทลียาโคราชซันไรส์ กุหลาบโคราชโกกิ กุหลาบโคราชไลก้า เป็นต้น

The KOS (Thailand) has activities to conserve native orchid species, such as Aerides houlletiana (in Thai, it is called Aueng-Kularb-Lueng-Korat) and improve orchid hybrids, such as V. Korat Light Amber, V. Korat Gold, V. Tubtim Korat, C. Korat Beauty, C. Korat White, Rlc. Phet Korat, Rlc. Korat Pink, Rlc. Phet Ratsima, Rlc. Korat Red, Rlc. Korat Sunrise, Aer. Korat Koki, Aer. Korat Lika, etc.

สมาคมกล้วยไม้โคราช (ประเทศไทย) ได้ร่วมกับกลุ่มดำรงค์สตาร์จัดสวนประกวดในงาน The 23rd World Orchid Conference ที่เมืองไทนาน ประเทศไต้หวัน ระหว่างวันที่ 23 – 28 กุมภาพันธ์ 2567 ขนาดสวน 10×10 เมตร ภายใต้ชื่อ “Land of Smile” และได้รับรางวัล BEST DISPLAY IN SHOW จนได้รับคำชมจากนานาประเทศ ทางสมาคมกล้วยไม้โคราช ขอขอบคุณทางทีมงานทุกๆ ท่านที่ไม่ได้เอ่ยนามที่ทำให้ประเทศไทยเป็นที่รู้จักไปทั่วโลก

The Korat Orchid Society (Thailand) with the Damrongstar Group, Mr. Chaiwat Wittayathornrat, Mr. Prayot Tanphichai jointly a garden competition at the 23rd World Orchid Conference in Tainan City, Taiwan from 23 - 28 February 2024. The garden is 10×10 meters under the name “Land of Smile” and received the BEST DISPLAY IN SHOW award, which has received praise from many countries. The Korat Orchid Society would like to thank all the staff members who were not mentioned for making Thailand known worldwide.

พิธีลงนามบันทึกข้อตกลงความร่วมมือการจัดเตรียมความพร้อมและข้อมูลเพื่อเสนอตัวเป็นเจ้าภาพการประชุมวิชาการกล้วยไม้โลกนานาชาติ (MOU: Collaboration for information and preparation for proposing to host the World Orchid Conference) ระหว่างจังหวัดนครราชสีมาและสมาคมกล้วยไม้โคราช กับ หน่วยงานภาคีเครือข่าย เมื่อวันที่ 22 ก.ย. 2566 เวลา 13.00-15.00 น. ณ ศูนย์การค้าเทอร์มินอล 21 โคราช ชั้น G ปารีสสตรีท ทางสมาคมกล้วยไม้โคราช ต้องขอขอบคุณทุกๆท่าน ทั้งทางจังหวัดนครราชสีมา หน่วยงานภาคีเครือข่าย ต่างๆ แขกผู้มีเกียรติ ตลอดจนนักข่าวทุกๆท่าน ที่ได้มาเป็นเกียรติ และร่วมมือ ร่วมใจกันในครั้งนี้ทางสมาคมกล้วยไม้โคราช รู้สึกขอบพระคุณ ปลาบปลื้มใจ และจะเตรียมการนำเสนอให้ดีที่สุด

The KOS (Thailand) would like to thank everyone from Nakhon Ratchasima Province, various network agencies, honorable guests, and all journalists who had honored us and joined us in this event. The Korat Orchid Society was grateful and delighted and prepared the best bid presentation.
